07-25-26 Rod Phillips, is in critical care because of internal bleeding. Please pray they can locate the bleeding and treat it. He’s suppose to have surgery August 5th. Pray our Lord will guide the doctors.
07-20-26 *Janice Balmer is a resident of Happy Tails. She fell and will be transitionsing back home to be with her family when she has healed. Please pray for her healing. Pray she will be able to transition happily home to her family when she is healed.
O7-19-26 *Michelle Todd, friend of Arby Norwood, is currently in ICU and is critical. She has liver failure among many other issues. She and her husband need our prayers. Please pray for the doctors to figure out how to help her.
07-18-26 *Chris Vakoc, nephew of Denise Messer, was just diagnosed with kidney cancer. He is a cancer researcher at St. Jude’s Children Hospital and still got cancer. He is 47 years old. His mother is Glenda Vakoc, a Bible study leader for “Women of Faith”. Please pray for him and his loved ones.
07-18-26 Joan Parker update, came home from the hospital last night. She and Marwin thank everyone for their prayers.
07/02/26 *Jim, brother of Sheila Cwikla has just been diagnosed with brain cancer. He knows that Jesus is the Lord. Pray for our Lord's hands as Jim goes through treatments. Pray for comfort for his family.
06/24/26 Jirusha’s update, lumpectomy is scheduled for Friday, July 31st (she chose that date so she could still attend our family reunion and teach summer school camp with Camden). They will send her tumor/mass for testing after surgery to ensure that she doesn’t need chemotherapy (initial thoughts are that she won’t need chemo). 4-6 weeks after surgery, she will start radiation. If there is enough breast tissue and the placement is good, they may be able to get away with partial radiation (5 treatments scheduled every other day) if not, full radiation will be every day Monday-Friday for 20 sessions. She will also start taking a hormone blocking drug (which she will be on daily for at least 5 years). They also drew blood today for genetic testing which will help me make decisions about how aggressive to be during surgery based on the results/family history/ possibility of reoccurrence later in life. Thank you for your prayers. Please continue as it will be a process.
06/18/26 Teri Olson update, got my Dermatology report. Two of my biopsy spots need attention, One on my left arm and the one on my right arm are positive and need further cutting out by my Dermatologist. The spot on my forehead needs MOHS surgery. I am still waiting for that call to set it up. So three out of five biopsies came back positive. Pray for scheduling and removal soon.
